Forays in France came to mind when travel stopped during Covid and I couldn't get France out of my mind. When I wasn't worrying about the pandemic, all I oculd think of were the flowers blooming on the Riviera, little cobblestone streets in St. Paul de Vence, hidden gardens in Paris...my first transatlantic crossing in 1958. I worried I might not travel again and start writing about meals and markets and museums. Voila! The anecdotes grew to a book: Forays in France: A Flavorful Memoir. foraysinfrance.com
