Write. Write anything and everything. Keep a journal, write old fashioned letters to people read. Find a few authors whose work you enjoy, and follow their careers. You'll learn so much by reading other people's work.

The opportunity to take all my ideas, daydreams, fantasies and spin them into a story that people will read and enjoy is it's own special kind of high. Most people keep those things hidden inside of themselves and rarely let any of it out. I get to choose things like my love of Native American Culture and weave it into something that brings enjoyment.

I do something else creative. I love to paint water colors, sew quilts or do nature photography. Doing this releases my creative juices and before long I can get back to writing.

I have two projects going at this time. I am completing the second book in the Snowflake series, Return to Snowflake and I'm putting the finishing touches on a book called A Hero's Heart: Brandon's Brigade series Book I. This series is a Navy Seal Military series.
