Right now I'm wrapping up the final illustrations for a coloring book. This book was created in 5 countries, got partially destroyed in the process, and now is finally headed towards the finish line. It's been a wild ride! I plan to publish this spring, so sharpen your colored pencils and stay tuned!

Upon seeing our small bags all packed and ready to leave his guest house in León, Nicaragua, Rigo Sampson said to us “you should teach a class on packing light.” And I thought, “oooh, that would be fun.” And then life moved on just has it had for the previous 2 years. We took a chicken bus, then a taxi, then a ferry, and stayed on a volcano in the middle of a lake. We chased pigs in our underwear. We took another ferry, another bus, another shuttle, and then bought more mosquito repellant. It wasn't until found myself going back yet again to reference old emails I had written to friends with packing advice that I decided it was finally time to put all of this together.
