I am currently working on the fourth and final novel of my "Blackbeard's Cove Mysteries." Book IV is called, "Blackbeard's Legacy: Shared/Time." If you have not read books I, II, and III, beginning with Mystery at Blackbeard's Cove, this would be the perfect time to become introduced to the wonderful people of Ocracoke Island, North Carolina and their rich pirate heritage. These novels offer more than just stories handed down eleven generations. They offer the heart, the soul, and the profound insight that has been passed down as well.

Every book I write is a product of something I have seen or heard. By keeping my eyes and ears open, especially in nature, ideas fly past as often and as diverse as butterflies. I simply catch these ideas with a pencil instead of a net and apply them to similar events in life.

Because this question didn't state the name of the book, I will be talking about my latest book, "Chester Raccoon and the Almost Perfect Sleepover."
My niece, Ila, came bursting into my house saying, "I just came from a disastrous sleepover." When I asked her what the matter had been, she explained she couldn't stay the night: she had to go home to her own bed.
This happens to so many children. It has little to do with fear. Everyone feels better in their own surroundings.
