Helen Sims Sit and cry! - No, I'm joking, - (although I have). It's a horrible thing.

I try not to put too much pressure on myself, because I find that it makes it worse.
I always carry a notebook with me, (sometimes more than one), just in case something comes to me.

I also find 'Pinterest' helps me with writing ideas or 'prompts'. Even if nothing particularly useful comes out of it, it is something I can come back to - and it helps me keep WANTING to write.
Helen Sims Don't be afraid of getting it 'wrong', or not being good enough. Just write!

A draft can be improved, and the more you write, the more you learn.

Sylvia Plath said 'The worst enemy of creativity is self doubt' , and she was right I think.

Don't let self-doubt stop you doing something you love.
Helen Sims The idea for 'Taking Steps' came to me when I was in hospital, (age 14), having major surgery to improve my mobility. I hoped to (eventually) bring everything together, and create something different, that combined many different parts of my life.
