Sometimes a book, film, or news story will inspire me to explore a topic in a fictional narrative. Also, a true story I hear from someone will get my interest as the source for a story. I have written short stories just by seeing someone on the street or in a restaurant, and the way the person looks communicates an emotion I want to explore.

I've always been a movie fan, so I wanted to write a mystery that combined a whodunit with my passion for films. The result was "Out of the Picture," which will be released by Sage Words Publishing. I am an animal lover, and am very concerned about women who have been abused by males. So, I included these topics in the story.
