Finish your manuscript before you begin editing. Once you have a beginning, middle and end, you will go back and your subconscious will do amazing things with all that your imagination has created.

The book publicity events just started and all I want to do is get back to editing books four and five. I know that once you finish book three, you are going to email me, looking for more. The next two books in the Perpetual series are in the editing process, and books six through ten are on the proverbial typewriter. Stay tuned. . .

The stories and characters have chased me down. The events can be described like this: Everything in Perpetual is based on facts -- except for those parts that are not. One reader wrote, "What bothers me most about your writing, Mr. Huey, is that I cannot differentiate between what is real and what is not." I love that.

The characters give me very little rest. Once the first version of book one released years ago, I received a deluge of emails asking one question: "Where is book two." Perpetual is a story of the lives of a North Woods Maine town and their favorite son and daughter, Matthew and Maria. The backdrop spans fifty years of global history. The premise is the dreamer pitted against daunting forces. I can't wait for you to get on the bus. It's going to be a great ride.
