Hi Jack!
I didn’t actually create the listing but have just gone in to check it and it seems to be linking to the correct author? (He’s holding your book!) maybe someone came in and fixed it for you?
If it’s still showing differently on your end, let me know.
Cheers

(view spoiler)[Hi Sean! Will be be able to witness Dec and Simon's wedding? I hate to see them go... (hide spoiler)]

Unfortunately at the moment, this is both out of my hands and Simon and Dec's. Marriage equality is still not a thing here despite 70% of the general public being in favour of it. Thanks to spineless politicians being more concerned about pandering to the religious right within their own ranks it still seems like a pipe dream right now.

It would certainly be interesting ;)
And you never know, I might take you up on that!

Catt and I have never given up on Dash and Dingo, but life keeps getting in the way. We fully intend to continue it, and there are part manuscripts written and stories fleshed out for four books. I'm not giving up on them!

Sorry I have been so late in answering this, but yes, Tigers on the Run will be released July 13th!

Hi Anishaa, sorry for the late response. I am currently in the middle of getting my website back up and running, and hopefully soon have the free books up there as well.

Margaret Atwood! When I first read "Cat's Eye" I felt like I was truly in another person's head and seeing the world through their eyes. The childhood trauma of bullying was captured so vividly and was all too too real. I then devoured her back catalogue, and everything was astounding. The fact that she's in her seventies and still producing brilliant writing is an inspiration. It will be a sad day when she is no longer with us.

It's an open genre, and I don't think gender has anything to play with the strength or 'quality' of a story. I do get the notion of 'authenticity' though - as a queer teen I sought out books by gay men in order to, I guess, learn from the feet of those who had gone before me. But those weren't romances, really. Yet I also devoured Anne Rice's books and swooned over the tortured love of Louis and Lestat.
What I do think, however, is that when you're writing about a minority, you must show respect for them and be careful not to misappropriate. Allies must have a care not to become the spokespeople, and sometimes I think that gets shafted in the MM genre, when any time an LGBTQ person has a criticism to make they often get shouted down. It can be very discouraging and disheartening.
So a longwinded response to a very complex question - ANYONE can, and should, write MM - but please remember you're writing about a disenfranchised minority and not make the characters cardboard fetishes.
And also, I'm just one voice. You could find any other LGBTQ person writing in the genre who would very possibly think I'm being an opinionated arsehole ;)

1000 times yes! (I feel like Simon would have a lot to say about this.) I'm a gay woman who just wants to read about other gay people, but keep running in to straight women's creepy fetishistic fantasies. I love your books. Very relatable.

I have mixed feelings about it,but I'm mostly fine with it. I actually read tons of MM written by women, because there are a ton out there, and I've enjoyed a vast majority of them. There was a time that I assumed MM was written by gay men, as a lot of the pen names were masculine or gender neutral, but I was shocked to find out that they were written by women! I kept finding reading more and more of such books I started to wonder if gay men wrote MM fiction anymore! I believe when I started reading gay fiction, as it was called at the time, those books were actually written by gay men.

Hi, Jeff!
As it so happens, I have just received news about a Tigerland ebook this week! Currently Dreamspinner are auditioning some voice actors, and once that is done the process of recording can start. I don't have any dates or timeframe, but it will happen!
Third book… all I can say, is the ideas are there. It's percolating, and maybe we'll see something come out of it.
Thanks!

This is a question I get asked a lot. Usually I'm being quite honest when I say, "I don't know." And I'm thinking "I don't know" at the moment, but there are always ideas. There is a half-formed idea at the moment, a novella that is now turning into a novel - but I am so hopeless I don't know yet what will become of it.
But there is a short story that will go up at Amazon, and will be released for free on my website soon-ish. More details to come.
