Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Barbara Stok Ik ben al ruim twintig jaar in filosofie geïnteresseerd. Ik volg af en toe vakken filosofie aan de universiteit Groningen en heb me verdiept in het Stoïcisme. Na mijn beeldroman ‘Vincent’ stuitte ik in het boek ‘Vrouwelijke filosofen, een historisch overzicht’ (van Carolien Ceton) op Hipparchia. Haar levensverhaal en denkbeelden spraken me erg aan en ik zag er meteen een verhaal in.
