Sandy Paull If I reach the point where I am unable to continue with a particular plot or scene, I simply just put it aside until I solve my character's problem (could be days or months). In the meantime I turn my efforts to one of the other stories I have on the go....I never find myself short of an idea and never stop writing!

Sandy Paull Originally to simply come up with something more enjoyable than what I had been reading. These days, I am unable to stop my mind from thinking, and I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing I can turn a word or a phrase into something worthwhile almost daily. My high school English teacher would be so surprised!
Sandy Paull I love being lost in my imagination and escaping the real world, coming up with challenging scenarios for my characters to test their limitations.
Sandy Paull Sitting beside my son's hospital bed, the idea came to me of creating a story using some of my own life experiences such as using a slingshot, having fun sliding down embankments, and walking through dense rainforests. It escalated from there!
Sandy Paull I am presently enjoying a prolific period of creating, and have been able to add over 10,000 words to my latest crime/suspense manuscript in the past week :)
