Once upon a time, many years ago, there was a little boy named Noel who had a beautiful head of hair. It was so beautiful it made all the Gods jealous and displeased them, so they cursed him and it all fell out. The end

I am working on a book of simple Liquor recipes, still working on the photos of the different stages of some of them... I am also considering writing a sequel to Goldilocks and the Three mares fairy tale I just published. I may also put out another collection of poetry, prose and verse.

Everything and anything can trigger the idea, for example ... I was watching a movie, and the hero said to the girl, how he wanted to be the best swords man ever, so he went off and became that, when he achieved it years later he went home to marry his child hood sweet heart, but she was no longer there, his friends and family had got on with their lives had children and everything he loved was gone..... so I wrote a song about a boy who went to war and 20 years later was reminiscing about his regrets. Odd phrases I've said, or that are said by others, stuff done by our furry and feathered family, newspaper stories, by lines in advertising... as I said anything and everything that triggers the imagination... just remember, it doesn't matter how bad you think the idea is, if it has triggered some spark write it down, let it develop and follow it to its end. you never know what you will get... I mostly write sad tragedy in songs , then comical stuff... but a phrase said as a put down joke about a pony, gave me a children's story I love. Possibly one of the most enjoyable things I've written.

Write, write and then write more. Don't put it off till later write it now even if it is just a few words... imagination, moves about quickly, and unless you have taken time to add some glue by writing it down, the memory of it may disappear.

You can go where ever your imagination takes you. There are no limits.

We have a palamino pony, a couple of years ago when I was feeding him I said to Christine words to effect " I'll throw some hay to Goldilocks and the two mares". The moment it was out of my mouth I knew I'd be writing a story, poem or lyric about goldilocks and horses

I usually write on inspiration, and I hold it until it bursts out... but for those times where I have an idea but struggle to express it... I write words, any words in sentences, until it makes sense. It may take several hours and pages of gobbledygook but it usually woks and is heaps better than when I used to pull my hair out (I ran out of hair).
