I like the sound of that, but I'm not certain if I write fast enough for that many Hunter novels. I'll have to take them one at a time. Thanks for the question

I apologize for not seeing your question earlier. I love your question about having another 44 novels in the series and a handicap heroine is a great idea. Right now, I'm working on the Hunters that have been introduced so far, but I'll definitely see how it goes from there. The need for their services and skills in the world means that there are many situations that might require their help and the meeting up with a handicapped heroine is certain possible. Thanks for your question about the Hunters and the wonderful suggestions.

I was a voracious reader when I was a child and I think that's where the desire to write began for me. I wrote a few short stories when I was a teenager and throughout the years I always had a half-finished novel on the go. It wasn't until I was in my late thirties that I decided to get serious about writing. I took writing courses and tried to write regularly. It took me ten years to get my first novel, The Seduction of Sarah, published.
My inspiration comes from numerous places and things. Usually the first thing that comes to me is an initial scene with characters interacting, or a character telling me something about themselves.
I've learned to always be open to the possibilities in any situation and to listen for the story. On a recent vacation to Scotland, whenever I visited a ruin or castle, I would sit and let the atmosphere of the location speak to me. Then I would write down what I heard. I have a small notebook full of characters who are waiting for me to tell their story.
The inspiration for my aHunter4Hire series came to me on a family vacation. We had a free day, so I spent the afternoon relaxing and writing down the details of an unusual character that was playing out in my head. When I returned home, I immediately started working on aHunter4Rescue.
Needless to say, I have many stories waiting to be written because I'm constantly getting new ideas.

Writer's block is difficult because it usually happens when I allow negatives to interfere with my writing. These come from my inner critic, family, friends, or just life in general. The most important thing to overcoming the block is to turn off my inner critic and allow myself to hear the story. Then it's a matter of sitting down and getting that story on the page. I find that positive affirmations, timed writing, word goals, and resisting the urge to edit as I write, are the most effective way to jumpstart my writing.

Hi Alia
There are definitely more Hunter4Hire books coming. The next one is aHunter4Ever and I expect it to be ready in the new year. January 2015, if not earlier.
Thanks for asking.
