Barbara Ebel LOL! To tell you the truth, it/they are already in my novels!
Barbara Ebel Hi Lavonna, thanks for the question. Titles are not copyrighted, so there's no infringement. As a matter of fact, after I published "Downright Dead," within a few months an author used the same title for their book.

My main protagonist is the "outlander" physician. Her background is diverse. She comes from an unusual island nation, then immigrates to the U.S. where she lives on L.I., NY, but then travels and works in different states as a Locum tenens physician (random, part-time assignments). I thought "outlander" would help describe her life-style!

Have a nice day!

Barbara Ebel Thanks, Kenna. I just lost Chester in 2017 and I'm still grieving. Yes, we was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and was a certified therapy dog who worked with both seniors and children. But he also worked due to his children's book series because we would be invited for book events all over.

I have always had several dogs but the Chesapeake was that one special dog who I'll keep special in my heart. He was so loyal to me, it was outstanding.

As I write/work at my desk each day, his ashes sit beside me.

Are you familiar with the breed?
Barbara Ebel Hands down! Scarlet and Rhett.
Barbara Ebel Before you're comfortable writing, you need to set up your own special spot for the words to flow at their finest. Have a favorite room or a special chair? Or a place in the house where you can work with a pleasant view?
