Cassidy Carson To me, writer's block is more a matter of a lack of self-confidence rather than an inability to write. The answer is to keep writing as much as possible as often as possible without caring about the end result. Practice will not only improve writing skills, but will also help break through the self-doubt that may be causing the block.
Cassidy Carson The best thing about writing is being able to exercise my creative streak!
Cassidy Carson Read everything you find interesting, write as much as possible, and march to your own beat. The publishing world has changed a lot in the last few years and now allows writers to release the works they really want to create, instead of what someone else tells them is marketable. Be true to yourself.
Cassidy Carson My current project is the second book of the Five Fold Love series, "Jack Wild." This book will pick up where "Royal Flush" left off from the point of view of two different characters: Jameson Aaron Knight and Larissa Aznar. The overall story will continue from their perspective and move another step closer to what, I hope, will be an amazing conclusion for the series.

I also plan to release a holiday short in the same universe in time for Valentine's Day.
Cassidy Carson Inspiration comes to me when I'm working on other mindless tasks like exercising or working at my day job. Sometimes the news, a book, or a movie, will give me an idea. Inspiration is everywhere.
Cassidy Carson "Royal Flush" is a combination of several ideas I've gotten over the course of years; I'd thought at first that I'd write several series, but the ideas melded together into a cohesive whole so this is now the first of a single series of undetermined length.
