Hi, Don't know if you still look at these but I have just finished 'Becoming Mary' for about the third time and wondered if you given up your writing? I so hoped you would be following it up, possibly with Kitty's story and including Mary's first efforts at being a wife. I guess it is highly unlikely you are still writing (and I do hope you and your family are OK) but I felt I had to ask.

Amy Street Hi Ann, Thank you so much for this - it was very lovely to receive it. I'm so pleased you continue to enjoy the book, absolute music to my ears.
I did start to write a sequel some time ago, much as you described, but I was unimpressed with my efforts. However, inspired by your letter I had a look at what I'd done and actually after all this time I thought it was rather promising though I've no idea where I was going with the plot!
Life has been extremely busy, and the pandemic has been tough, but I have started writing again, and am hopeful that I may be able to do more - I do work almost full time which doesn't help.
I hope you and yours are also ok.

How do you get inspired to write?

Amy Street A single line from another book, a face on the street, something somebody says. I even wake up in the night with a line in my head.
But mostly I just sit down and write.
