Rachel Ripley Though my response could seem obvious, the best thing is writing. Being able to create words, characters and histories that get you to a different reality, to another life, and to sumerge yourself in the story while you are writting it.... it's great.

Also to know that there is people that while reading the book, feel the same as you writing it.
Rachel Ripley I usually change to another activity, mainly manual, like some computer games or washing dishes or so. This way, my mind is free for thinking about the novel. After doing it, I can write without any blocking

Rachel Ripley This year, on holidays. We rented an appartment with a big mirror in front of the bed and it really made me feel scared. And then I thought a mirror could be a good idea in a terror novel, my next one that will be published soon
