I'm an author of three books on local history in the Reading, PA area, and I also do slide programs on the History of Postcards. Many of the cards pictured in the program are of World's Fairs and Expos, and my daughter gave me a copy of "Flying Cars" for Christmas. I tend to be a rather quirky writer, it seems that I have met a kindred spirit. I love the book. Thank you?

I am so delighted to hear you liked the book. As a fellow history buff (well, I'm more of a history nut, actually), I really love the quirkier side of it as well. The best part is, there's always something new to dazzle and astonish you, even when you think you've seen it all.

BTW, the "History of Postcards" slide program sounds really cool!
