I don't ever get it. Sometimes the words and ideas flow; sometimes they don't. If they don't, I edit and tweak existing things; if they do, I run with it. Sooner or later, some kind of complete work emerges.

Ask yourself: Do I really NEED to do this? If I don't, will my head explode? If the answer is no, you're lucky. Run away and do something else. If the answer is yes, then you are marked. You have no choice. Get writing and make it work.
