Write both what you don't know and what you do. The former will make you research into the topic and make your book more powerful, emotive and compelling, and the second will hopefully make your reades identify with your characters and their journey.

I try not to wait for inspiration, but just get delve into it. That’s often easier said than done. It’s easier to do when you have a firm setting and information about your story, but not always. I’ve found that inspiration of ten comes to me when I’ve started to try and write something. The more I write the more ideas pop into my head.
