My head. Its constantly spitting out ideas and concepts. At the end of the day however, "Love After Dust" (my most recent work), was a combination of ideas that were in my head, and a deep desire to do exactly what the main character does. Survive and find love.

Really for me it is just about needing to get an idea down on paper. Inspiration often strikes out of nowhere and I can honestly say I do not know where it comes from.

I am painting every day, creating new work all the time. I am also working on 2 more post-apocalyptic romances on the side along with doing some commissioned drawings.

As I am just starting out myself and not a writer by trade, I am not necessarily the best person to answer this. I will say as an artist trying to break out, that it takes a lot of patience. And if you learn how to market and sell yourself, it really helps.

I create other types of Art. I am not an author or writer by trade, but rather a painter. I also draw. When I am stuck, I simply move to another art form for a time.
