J.J. Warren All of my writing is drawn from personal experiences with people and situations that I have encountered. I am very observant and in touch with my own feelings and the world around me. I take all of these observations and emotions and drive them forward onto paper. I stay busy and interact often with the world around me to ensure the inspirations never cease.

J.J. Warren I deal with writer's block by moving around, changing my setting. I find that if I write in the same place, under the same circumstances, I grow stale. Packing up my materials and placing myself in a new setting always helps. In all cases, I go into nature because that always inspires me, recharges my battery and fuels my creativity like nothing else.
J.J. Warren My first book The Squirrel Chair was inspired by my own journey through dealing with my father's diagnosis of small cell lung cancer.
