Barbara Becker Holstein I got the idea from myself, remembering my own promises to myself that I made when I was a kid. I saw a lot of stuff that grown-ups didn't seem to see anymore. And then as a psychologist working with children I saw that kids really do see a lot and sit on so many emotions, longings and wishes. So the 'girl' was created to talk for all of us that once were kids.
