(view spoiler)[DON'T STUMBLE: After three years of mourning the loss of my husband and the countless disasters I had created, I made the decision to write about them. My life had changed so drastically to the point of ridiculous, it was almost fate that a new book was in the making. I went from having a happy marriage, a lucrative career, a beautiful home and a secure future to being widowed, homeless, jobless and in jail. Everything I believed in had been ripped from me. Looking for something to make sense out of four years of my life that felt like a continuing nightmare lead me to a place I never believed I would find the strength to live through. I found security in having nothing, love in ungodly places, exchanged normal for crazy and learned that the "crazy ones" have more understanding of life than "normal" ever will. Sometimes life pushes you to the edge of no return and I no longer believe that is a bad thing. Marijuana seemed to provide me with something I could stand for again after losing everything. I received the slam lesson on how it provides pain relief in nothing less than miracle ways. This lesson changed my life forever and the way I view cancer treatments. My journey for truth was filled with the overwhelming pain of loss. Displacement of soul and the drive to live is a search for love and happiness. Once you have it and it is ripped away, you look for answers or at least a way to make a difference so life doesn't seem random or without meaning. (hide spoiler)]

I don't! I let it be and it too shall pass.

Answering children's questions about my stories. Children are so honest and so open. I would rather inspire kids to read than anything else I could do with my writing. Second best thing, if I could touch one person with the gift of forgiveness I was shown. Forgiveness heals the soul and paves the path to love. This is why I wrote my first book and I am sure it will be one of the reasons I write again and again.

Don't pay too much attention to looking brilliant! If you are inspired to share, write! It may never go anywhere but how will you know if you never dare to try! Believe in yourself and give it your best shot. On those occasions when a review slams you into oblivion, and it will happen, just smile and ask yourself if that literate person who just ripped my book to shreds has given it there all. Keep going, never let anyone tell you, you aren't good enough. Writing is art and art is created from love, not everyone will love your work but you will touch some.

Don't Stumble:
A story of losing everything to cancer, growing marijuana and learning to let go of old beliefs. The search for understanding and a cure.
Losing your mind is a side effect of the human condition. Security is not real or tangible. We tell ourselves this lie to feel safe, in reality life is never safe!
You better hold on, laugh while you can, cry when you need to and make sure you never cheat yourself out of the scariest parts of life. That's where love is! If your lucky, you'll get to touch crazy for a minute. When in doubt, always go with Love, Love is all that matters!

For me inspiration comes from conversations with God. Inspiration is different for all of us, I believe. Mine is not always welcome. Sometimes it comes from really messed up experiences. In fact more often than not!
