Don't force your writing. Don't steal other people's ideas and don't copy. Be original. Don't change your writing voice, because you think that you have to. Don't be afraid to take criticism and bad reviews. Not everyone will like your work. Some of the negative feedback can even be constructive. Never stop learning. Once you feel you know everything, it's time to stop writing.

Good question. Sometimes the ideas just hit me and other times I'm inspired by my previous works. My darker work is just a piece of me that needed to be voiced.

Being able to let my imagination loose. I love creating characters and even worlds. There really are voices inside, that need to be expressed. When someone appreciates my work, it's sweet.

I don't write when I'm not inspired. I've seen writers try to force the story and it shows to their editor and their readers. I let the story take shape and never force it.
