Robert Hoge Not really. Sometime people react strangely because of the way I look but it's a lot better than when I was a kid.

What inspired you to write books?
Robert Hoge Hi Kylie. I wrote the book because I like telling stories and I thought it may help people like me - people who were a bit different.

Robert your book "Ugly" was amazing! Haven't finished it yet but it's already a great book. I wanted to ask you on page 2 who's the hateful kid in your class? I'll bet he's the actual ugly one. You're beautiful on the inside I can tell but your opinion's you opinion. Well, anyway, that's my question please answer it right away!
Robert Hoge Hi Hailey, thanks so much for reading Ugly. I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I won't name the actual kid on page two and he's kind of representative of a bunch of kids really - you know the ones that we all encounter from time to time.
