Read a book, either by another author or the one you're working on. Re-reading an unfinished book as sometimes get you going again. Reading other authors can also inspire ideas. I'm not talking about plagiarizing. I mean only that it gets your mind working. I'm often struck with ideas while reading that have nothing to do with the book I'm reading.
