Write. Don't wait for inspiration. Don't wait for the right time, there is none. Writing is hard. It should be, it's a job, but it's rewards, internally and externally, are worth the effort. Write everyday. Find a routine. Read the genre you write in. Go to writers conference and book signings and meet published authors.
