An error occurred while sorting questions for author Graham Garrity.
Graham Garrity One day my kids were being extremely noisy and I remember thinking that if I could invent a device that would get rid of all the noise parents everywhere would be eternally grateful.
Graham Garrity I jot down random thoughts in a notebook. Sometimes all I'm left with is random notes, other times I will see a story emerge. When that happens I just run with it and see where the story goes.
Graham Garrity I always try to have a couple of projects on the go at any one time. I'm currently working on a second Sound Catcher novel. If things get a little sticky and the words won't flow I'll put it to one side for a spell and work on something else.
Graham Garrity Keep writing. Even writing rubbish is better than not writing at all. The rubbish can always be tidied up later. If you've got nothing, you can do nothing with it.
Graham Garrity I get to work my own hours and I've no one looking over my shoulder.
Graham Garrity Now and again I'll sacrifice a goat or throw chicken entrails over my keyboard. If neither has the desired effect I go for a walk or potter about in the garden.
