Most ideas just come to me, and usually at inopportune times, lol. Otherwise, lots of things inspire ideas, ranging from photographs, and works of art to music. In fact, music probably provides the most inspiration and is also a constant backdrop while I write.

Write, write, write, write and then write some more. Writing, like any other talent, takes plenty of practice. The more you write, the better you get. It really is a simple equation.

I've never experienced true writer's block or the inability to write for extended periods of time. I've struggled with certain scenes or chapters and most certainly with revisions but usually work through the issue in a day or two.
