Elizabeth Brummitt Why I have memories missing and just what happened during those time.
Elizabeth Brummitt I was reading a vampire book. I don't remember which one now. I remember thinking I was tired of all the vampires-are-real-books-but-they-are-hidden books or the vampires-just-came-out-of-the-coffin books. I wanted a story about vampires and such that never were hidden. Where our history was their history if that makes sense.
Elizabeth Brummitt Different ways really. One way is that I'll be reading a book and won't like part of it or see how the story could be much better(to me that is) if certain things were different. Another way is I'll be watching tv and a idea will start forming. These ideas usually get wrote down and then merged with other ideas later on. I always will daydream about my life if something was different( like I became a vampire or a ZA happened ect...) and the idea will form and evolve from there. But the biggest/best/most way I get my ideas iis they just pop into mind. These ideas will not leave me alone till I have wrote them down.
Elizabeth Brummitt Right now I am working on a new story that doesn't have a name yet. I just know it is about vampires and weres. In the meantime( like when my brain threatens to quit working till I write it down) I noodle another story about zombies.
Elizabeth Brummitt I usually try to read something that is in no way related to what I am writing about. If that doesn't work I call a family member and just start talking. I use them as a sounding board. By the time I hang up I have at least a small detail to add or write about.
