By focusing on something else. Stepping away from the computer. Doing my day job. Trying to force the process may work for some, but not me. I've never really had "writer's block" but I've had dry spells, which usually means my notebook in my truck is getting filled with scirbbled suggestions on what to write and other random ideas.
The biggest block for me is when I'm not sure what happens next to my characters. Again, some time doing other things solves this.
