I was reading works by English and American poets in my middle school/high school years and Shakespeare in my high school years. I was impressed the way they expressed their feelings in the form of a poem and thought why not I write something. I experimented with various forms and it worked. So far my number of poems has crossed the three thousand limit.

My advice for aspiring writers is to read and practice what you have read. You get creative by adding new content that syncs with the writing you are doing. Search more about the topic you have chosen and poetize or phrase it in accordance with the rhyme and meter in case of poetry and the paraphrases in case of prose.

A writer can open up his heart and convey his/her feelings so profoundly that imagery apparent in the writing seems like it’s right there in the background.
