I'm editing this because I apparently misunderstood the question. Yes, The Stroke of Thirteen is a sequel to "Where You Can See the Stars," but you don't have to read them in order.

Book two in the Heartfriends trilogy is tentatively titled The Shadow of the Endless Night. I don't yet have an estimated release date for that.]
