FEUDAL LAND came from the idea of an acronym. Forced Economic United Domestic ALliances. It's about the end times and my vision of how it could easily come about.
Cam is a girl who has dreams sent by God. While the US is falling apart, she has a dream that she is to take two kids to their grandfather, the ruthless General Mors, who is in charge of the deadliest of the military run domestic alliances. From what she feels, she never thought she would survive and is okay with that future, but her greatest fear is Jaren, a young man she is growing to love who is not a believer, will die too, accomplishing God's will.

Writing is easy. Publishing is the work. I write because it's so much fun. I have more ideas than I could possibly write in a lifetime, so I'm motivated by the fact that I'm in a race against time. Aren't we all?

Write and read a lot. Get good at the mechanics of good writing. Don't expect to get rich or make a living writing. Do it because you love it.

I love creating stories. I'm wired that way. As a teen, when my friends and I would hit the mall or the beach (that's what happens when you grow up in a suburban beach town/tourist hot spot) I would make up stories about each person passing us. They loved it.
Every now then and then some character will walk by our car when hubby and I are stopped at a red light, and he'll turn to me and say, "That one is making an appearance in a book."

I pick three random words out of a dictionary and incorporate them into a flash fiction piece or my current work in progress. I also add something really traumatic. Books can never have enough traumatic events.
