If I get stuck in a scene, I end the scene - even if it's just to stop writing it - and start a new chapter. By the time the book is finished and I go back to self-edit, I'm easily able to finish the scene that gave me fits before.

Hi, Eileen! Actually I'm finishing up a couple projects under my contemporary persona, Christy Gissendaner, but I'm planning to do another historical fantasy series, in the vein of The Princes, but with a bit more paranormal to it. I really enjoyed the direction I went with Straitlaced though, so more hotter Regencies are soon to come. Is there anything in particular you would like to see? I always love getting feedback from readers, so thank you for your question!
