I've written two fiction manuscripts and am starting my third. Why fiction? Simply because people today tend to believe fiction rather than non-fiction, and so I have fictionalised fact to move with the times. Sad, but true.

I'm always inspired to write. I have too many ideas and not enough time. The world around us is in turmoil and yet many think that history doesn't affect us, that it doesn't repeat itself, and that it can be rewritten to suit modern ideas. History repeats itself, but never in exactly the same way. It is an unending resource and source of novels and non-fiction books.

HITLER'S ARISTOCRATS was the culmination of the idea I had back in 2014 that we are back in the same dangerous waters of 1933-1937. I told my editor back then, but he didn't believe me. When I finished THE AMBASSADOR he told me that I had been right and the result was HITLER'S ARISTOCRATS.
