Hmmm...I was walking my dog and just came ut with the idea. I could see the beginning very clear. Five young people wakes up in a closed room, questioning themselves:
1. Why are we there?
2. Where are we?
3. How will we get out?

It can be an emo-girl with a teddy bear on the train, a crazy thought when I walk the street "what if something would start moving in my back-pack right now" or a story someone tell me about a fun thing their kids said.

Collect inspiration everywhere, always have you mobile or a notebook to draw, write and take pictures. Anything can contain a story.
First do a synopsis, a map to follow if you get lost
Use all senses when you describe your environments and characters
Write with the flow, spelling and other you can check later
Attend a writing class, a great way to meet others like you

To be able to meet/create new characters and explore/develop new worlds. Amazing. It´s like watching a movie where you decide what will happen. When I write it all comes to life in my head.
Another thing is of course the respons of the readers! It is great to meet my readers and hear what they think.

Since I, appart for working as a writer, work as an Art Director and have two wild little boys at home I don´t have the time to have writer´s block. Kind of a blessing...we will see what happens when the kids get older :)
