So I accidentally skipped the question about advice for aspiring writers, but I wanted to answer it. So here goes: Write often! Don't worry about structure so much when writing the first drafts, just write! Write when you're emotional, it helps to build emotion in your work!
As for the idea for my recent book, let's see, inspiration came from a lot of places. Mostly, one of my favorite movies, "Trois." I wanted to "one-up" that movie by writing something even more erotic and suspenseful. I should note, Blood&Water: Daddy's Girl was a screenplay first. So that's how it all began.

Emotion inspires me to write. I find that I'm at my best when I'm "feeling some type of way." Sometimes I just get the urge to write because something inside won't rest until I do. I'm inspired by a lot of things, a dream, my environment, music, people, conversation, places, and working in news, well you can imagine what type of inspiration I get from current events.

I'm working on a suspense thriller called M.I.A. I wrote it years ago as a screenplay, now I'm writing it as a novel. I hope to have it published by the end of the Summer!
