I'm so glad you've been enjoying the West Coast series, Missy. I didn't actually know I was writing about hotwifing when I first started. I did a series about modern-day courtesans for my publisher Berkley. I figured a courtesan would have unusual sexual experiences so for a few of them I had their significant other like to watch them with other men or hear about it later. A fan then wrote to tell me that what I was writing was a lot like hotwifing. So I did some research and decided to write the West Coast series. I hope I do it justice in the writing! Thanks for the question.

Thanks for the question, Catherine. I'm so glad you love Max! I've always been interested in the idea of both ghosts and psychics. And from that interest grew the idea to combine them, with a ghost helping my psychic solving a mystery. Of course, the series really took off in my mind when I realized the ghost had to be my heroine's dead husband. I didn't originally see Witt as a love interest until I started writing him and both Max and I fell in love!
