Shean Pao The Feather and the Moon Well started out as a novella. I began writing about a minor character I had been toying with and pretty soon it turned into a full length novel.
Shean Pao I read a great deal as a child and teenager. I loved fantasy, and being carried away into different worlds. I wanted to be able to do that for others.
Shean Pao The second book to my fantasy series. I am contemplating calling it "The Nepha Lord's Daughter" - let me know what you think of this title.
Shean Pao Try to make writing a discipline. Get into the habit of writing every day. This may seem like a simple thing, but it is essential for staying on track. It is easy to put your writing down and get caught up in other things of the world. Suddenly several months go by and you realize you haven't written a thing.
If you truly want to be a writer, don't stop writing. Keep everything. One day you may go back and revise it, or merge the material into another story.
Shean Pao Being able to create my own worlds and characters, and taking others on an adventure I created.
Shean Pao I usually have so many ideas that I don't get writer's block. But if I do, I will go back and start reading what I have already written. That always gets the creative juices flowing and prompts me to write again.
