toniwo I drink...water (smile).
Two things. I find a quiet place and mediate uninterrupted for 30 minutes. Usually the middle of a park, I lie on a blanket on the grass and breath deeply. I only focus on the sound of my breathe. Then I go sit and people watch. I watch their behaviors, actions, the tone of their voices and I create stories about them. It gives the jolt I need to get back to what I am blocking.
toniwo When I am writing, I feel like my authentic self and can become what I am writing. SO it means something to me. Writing helps me to dig deep into my heart and find out what going on in there. For me, the best thing about being a writer is that what I have to say and what is received from the audience allows for greater interpretation.
toniwo Write something every day. When you are inspired by a thought, write it down - but not while driving - I have been inspired by an idea while I was driving and fortunately, my friend bought me a digital recorder so I won't write on napkins and receipts while driving.
toniwo A companion book to The Sidepiece Handbook.
toniwo Writing is an outlet for my thoughts and a re-creation of how I would like the story to end, not necessarily a happy one, but one that will allow thought.
