I have done very little marketing. I should have done a lot more. I've probably spent a total of about $80 on ads or promotions of various sorts. And I don't think any of them did anything. It's all been organic.

Again, this is a question that may not apply to me. I think I was born inspired to write. I can't point to any particular thing that inspired me to write, unless it was reading all the books I read as a child.

I am currently working on Book II of "The War Chronicles" series, which will be titled "Warlock." I expect to have it out in the May/June timeframe.

This will sound trite, but I only have two things to give as advice to aspiring writers.

That's like asking "what's the best thing about having blue eyes?" It's just part of me, and always has been. Perhaps the question really means "What's the best thing about a CAREER as a writer?" In that case I haven't been a "career writer" long enough yet to be able to answer it. Except to say that focusing on writing instead of dwelling in cubicle farms has allowed me to actually write more.
