Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Tracy Schlepphorst The idea for Eden and Her Happy emerged from my brother's suicide. After his death I thought my happy was gone forever. I began to research happinesss. I came to the conclusion that your Happy can never leave you, it just gets buried underneath your other emotions.

Tracy Schlepphorst Usually there will be an important life circumstance connected to my inspiration.

What are you currently working on?
Tracy Schlepphorst I am currently working on a children's book about manners. I am once again using the emotion belly from Eden and Her Happy and showing how manners are connected to the way we feel about ourselves and treat those around us.

Tracy Schlepphorst If you write from your heart, you can't do it wrong!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Tracy Schlepphorst Writing is very therapeutic for me. I have unfortunately experienced quite a bit of loss in my life, starting at a young age. I write to heal myself and hopefully help others as well.
