I'm not sure how to answer the question. To me, life is a mystery. Such as, why are some people successful, while others are not. To that end, my novel, "Dark Money" was based on events in my own life with a lot of fiction added. The game of craps is a mystery for a lot of people. I was one of them until I became a world class craps expert and trusted adviser. Commodities and options are mysteries to many people. I guess any problem or issue that needs a solution can be considered a mystery - - until it is solved.

My favorite fictional couple is Dagny Taggart and Henry Rearden of "Atlas Shrugged." They were two powerful individuals who did not let the government stop them from thinking. They worked well with each other to figure out mysteries and stood up to big government and they had a deep passion for each other.

When have writer's block I put everything away fro several days/weeks/or months until I get inspired again.

Being a writer is difficult for me. It takes a long time for me to finish a story. The best thing about being a writer for me is completing what I started and having people enjoy the story.

I am working on a second novel that involves a divorce attorney who lives in Phoenix, AZ and is fed up with the legal system and clients. He prefers to play craps in Vegas. While in Vegas he meets a single mom. Her ex-husband just happens to be involved in some shady dealings that drags everyone around him into a world of problems.

A friend of mine came up with the idea for a screenplay several years ago. We started writing but didn't get very far. I developed the characters and the story over several years.
