I am lucky enough that I haven't had it for years but when I did, I went out and did things - travelled, saw new things, and when I did that, it spurned new ideas or read more books.
The other thing to do is to remove all distraction from your working area. You should always have an area to write peacefully otherwise you may feel cramped and that doesn't help for flow at all.

That's tough. I always have a lot of ideas going through my head at the same time. I think it's just a matter of picking up a scene and running with it for an entire novel (not easy, but can be done).

I had the idea of it in my head for some time and have always been fascinated with Fallen Angels and 'The Fall' even though I am not religious. It took a little bit of time to figure out the bits and pieces but the end result was what you see before you today.
