Why does Raine see sparkles?

Barrie Summy Hi Mirabelle! Yikes! I don't have a good answer. I think I'm always looking around and wondering What If? For example, on the local news the other night, there was a story about a man's body found at the side of the highway. I started thinking of all kinds of reasons something like that could happen. What this man's life was like? Who were his friends and family? Did he have any interesting hobbies? What was he doing at the side of the highway late at night? And from all of that wondering a story starts to emerge. Thank you for the question!

Is there a planned sequel for The Disappearance of Emily H.? I would love to see what else Raine can do with the sparkles.
Barrie Summy Hi Sara! At this point, no sequel is planned. I won't say it'll never happen because I'm also curious to see what else Raine gets up to with sparkles. ;)
