I love that during the time I'm writing, I exist totally in the world that I'm creating. It's not always a fun or happy world, but it's still an escape from everyday reality. When it's a happy world, I'm in heaven!

I'm working on a second book titled EVE & MELODY, which is very different from THE ORANGE DRAGON BOWL. It takes place in the early 60s when the fear of nuclear war was very real. The Vietnam War affects this story a lot, tragically so. Eve is poor and Melody is very rich, but they forge an amazing friendship. Melody, who's had all kinds of advantages in life, benefits from Eve's maturity and wisdom. Melody knows a lot about everything sophisticated, and Eve is an avid learner.
