I think he proved that all fictional worlds were dangerous.
Most fantasy worlds have a dangerous mix of races and creatures. If it was sci fi, then you can swap in aliens and ... alien creatures.
But that's part of the attraction, isn't it?

I'm going nostalgic, re-reading the Jinian books from Sheri S. Tepper's 'True Game' sequence. I've read Peter's trilogy many times, but living in Auckland made getting my hands on Jinian's and Mavin's stories difficult.
