Many years ago, I wrote a children's book called "Wild Pets Are Best" about a boy and a stray cat he adopted. The book languished in memory, certainly not retrievable on paper. Ginger Cat is modeled after my favorite of all the cats that have wheedled themselves into our lives. Some of his antics required only reporting in rhymes but others had to be fabricated to fill out the story. Ginger Cat's post-publishing quips appear on Guess This Ginger Cat's Name's Facebook page.
