Leslie Tayne Operating a debt resolution law firm has exposed me to facing debt every day. Based on my experience as well as realizing how debt affects so many people, I decided I wanted to write a book about the topic of debt. However, I did not want to write a typical “become debt-free” book. As an expert in the field of debt resolution I am aware of the fact that in today’s economy it is almost impossible to be debt-free. This gave me the idea to write about how to live with debt, embrace debt, and manage it in the best way possible.
Leslie Tayne My advice would be to pick a topic to write about that you love. That way you will enjoy every moment of writing about it. I would also say that aspiring writers should gain as much knowledge and first hand experience on the topic as possible, in order to be able to cover it on a deeper level. I feel that because I have so much experience and knowledge in debt resolution I was able to write a book on the subject easily since I am on the front-lines of the industry.
Leslie Tayne Personally, I love being able to share my personal experiences and knowledge with others. I have been working in the field of debt resolution for over a decade and I take pride in being able to share this with readers. As an attorney I have changed so many peoples’ lives by helping them manage and resolve their debt, and now that I am an author I enjoy seeing how my writing has influenced and helped people as well. I hope to benefit as many people as possible with my book!
